Blueberry Blossoms started with a walk in the woods at just the right moment — those few weeks in spring when the blueberry bushes are covered in little pink buds.
I wanted to capture that burst of bright pink against all that green. Oil on canvas let me build up the greens in layers until the background felt alive, while keeping the blossoms simple and fresh.
