View From Hope
View From Hope is painted from the shore in Hope, Alaska — a small town on Turnagain Arm where the mountains drop straight into the water and the light turns magical.
I wanted to get that sense of scale — the sandy flats in the foreground, the clouds rolling in off the water, and those deep blue mountains stacked up behind. Oil on canvas let me push the blues until they felt as intense as they actually are.
One of a kind original oil on canvas
36 × 24 inches
Framed in natural wood
Ready to hang
