Fern Fronds
Fern Fronds came from wanting to get up close — really close — to something most people walk right past. There’s so much going on in a single fern if you stop and look.
Painting it large and square let me focus on the way the fronds radiate out from the center and how the greens shift. Oil on canvas let me build up those greens in layers — from bright and electric at the tips to deep and shadowy closer to the center.
One of a kind original oil on canvas
20 x 20 inches
Framed in natural wood
Ready to hang
